Registration Process

Become a service provider for us today!

We are always looking for SMEs and organisations to work with to scale up the electronic waste management sector, while having a positive impact.

Find out if you are compliant to become a service provider for ERA and what steps you need to follow in order to register:*

STEP 1
Registration Modules

Respond to our call for proposals by completing the registration modules. This includes:

  • General Information Modules: Complete 8 modules covering company details, financial information, infrastructure footprint, personnel, documents uploads, site information, etc.
  • Technical Questionnaire: Answer questions about expertise, capacity, and integration.
  • Pricing Module: As a Producer-managed PRO, central to our onboarding process is pricing.
STEP 2
Documentation

Upload the appropriate and required registration documentation via our portal for evaluation.**

STEP 3
Motivation

Upload a concise motivation outlining your present competencies, company resources and future plans - including reference lists and/or client base.

STEP 4
Due Diligence

Allow ERA to assess your business through site visits and verification.

STEP 5
Sign Agreement

Once you have been vetted, you will need to sign the Service Provider Agreement with ERA.

STEP 6
Ongoing reporting, certification, and invoicing

After you’ve been registered, you will need to provide ongoing data for reporting to DFFE, utilise our system to submit invoices as well as manage information, data returns, and recycling certificates.

*Non-ERA Service Providers are welcome to request more detailed information on the ERA EPR Scheme, and on how they could be absorbed into the ERA supply chain.

**Please note that failure to have the prescribed documentation does not automatically disqualify the prospective service provider as it is an indicator as to possible weakness in the business which ERA can work towards addressing with the applicant, should it be required and be deemed viable.
