The following terms and conditions apply exclusively to this ERA competition Terms & Conditions. By entering the Competition, participants agree to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions.
The Promoter is ERA NPC, a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa.

The ERA E-Waste competition will run from the 1st of October and end on the 15th of October at 23h59.
No entries after the Competition Period will be accepted.
The Competition is open to citizens of the Republic of South Africa, who are 18 (eighteen) years or older, except any minor, a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of, or consultant to the promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter, or a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition.
The Competition is only valid within South Africa. Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prize being awarded should they be declared a Winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and a new winner will be selected as per the rules of the competition.
By entering the competition, you acknowledge that should you be a winner, you may be required to provide proof of identification and any other such documentation as may be required for the Promoter to comply with any statutory requirements. The competition will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008. All personal information supplied by participants shall be processed in accordance with South African data protection legislation and as per the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed on the Promoter’s official website and link: https://eranpc.co.za/
By participating in this promotion participants agree to voluntarily disclose personal information and will have the option to opt in to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion.
Participants may unsubscribe from receiving marketing materials or request that the Promoter erase their information by contacting the Promoter via email at itsnotbroken@eranpc.co.za
Participants stand a chance to win 1 (ONE) of 10 (TEN) Phillips Eco-Friendly Air Fryers as well as spot prizes during the duration of the competition.
The draw will take place between the 15th and the 31st of October
Participants will only be eligible to win once during the Competition Period.
The winner/s of the competition will be determined by an audited random draw.
Winners will be notified via direct message and announced on our social media platforms. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. ERA’s decision on all matters related to the competition is final.
The promoter or nominated agent/s will make all reasonable attempts to contact the winner/s but if any winner/s cannot be contacted within 48 (Forty-Eight) hours from the date of the relevant draw, and if after 3 (THREE) attempted calls, the promoter reserves the right to draw a new winner/s. It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide the correct contact details. Calls will be recorded for verification purposes.
In order for the particular entry to be confirmed as valid, and to facilitate delivery, the eligible Winner will be required to provide documentation upon request such as proof of identification, including the winner’s full name, contact number, e-mail address and proof of address.
Winners have 7 (SEVEN) days after being contacted to submit their identification and any other required verification documents as may be requested to claim their prizes. Prizes not claimed within this period will be forfeited and the participant will be responsible for the cost of submitting proof of purchase.
Entry Requirements / Conditions
To enter this Competition, Participants will be required to do the following:
Participants must direct message ERA on any of our official social media platforms with a photo of themselves placing their broken appliance (e-waste) into an official e-waste drop-off bin.
Appliances must be in line with the accepted e-waste categories as listed on our website. A list of accepted appliances and drop-off locations can also be found on the ERA website.
By entering, participants agree that ERA may use their submitted photos for promotional purposes.
Entrants must ensure their submissions are original and comply with the competition guidelines. ERA reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not meet the criteria.
Delivery of Prizes
Delivery of prizes will take between 4-6 weeks. Should delivery take longer, this will be communicated.
The prize is not transferable, and no substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted. The prize will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified prize winner.
The Promoters reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to substitute the prize with any other prize of comparable commercial value for whatsoever reason.
The Promoters may require the Winner to accept and sign necessary forms such as an indemnity, and media release form/s and should the Winner refuse or be unable to comply with this clause for any reason, such a Winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize and it shall revert back to the Promoter.
The Promoter does not warrant that any prize will be free from defects. All risk and ownership of the prizes shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof. Any expenses incurred by the winner/s, other than the items listed in the prize will be for the winner/s own account.
General
All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. The Promoter and its agents will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, experienced by Participants as a result of joining this competition or using the prizes.
The Promoters are not liable for any technical failures affecting the participation and/or Prize redemption process of the Competition.
Any violation or attempt to violate any of the competition rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
The Promoters may require the Winner to be identified, photographed, and published in printed media, social media, and social digital media channels, or to appear on radio and/or television, without any payment or other remuneration when accepting the Prize. The Winner will be given the opportunity to decline to the publication of their image and to participate in the Promoters’ marketing materials in so far as it relates to the Competition. The winner’s name will be published on ERA social media pages.
